Turn to the Sun is a Vancouver, BC based non-profit group of nurses, friends, school children and families committed to raising funds which support community based HIV/AIDS projects in Africa.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2010 sunflower seedling fundraisers.
This year we branched out beyond East Van and Robert's Creek, over to Kitsilano and as far as New Westminister and Mission.
Local participating Chief Maquinna Elementary (third year running!) was joined by Lord Strathcona and General Wolfe Elementary.
And all together, our grand total raised for the Stephen Lewis Foundation from all locations is just over $9,800!!
May the spirit of community and new growth continue to find it's way into all our homes and gardens and communities over this year.
